BS Industrial Engineering (University of Wisconsin)
Following a quarter-century career in the manufacturing, engineering, and contract software industries, Mark Baitinger returned to school to earn his math teaching certificate. He has since earned licenses in physics and biology, as well as Earth and space science through proficiency-based learning alternatives and Praxis testing. After a decade of experience in a traditional school setting, he is excited to transition from a classroom to a virtual teacher.
“I enjoy most getting to know students in order to determine what each one of them needs most to succeed,” he said. “Way more than curriculum, I enjoy the one-on-one time with students and parents.”
Born and raised near Madison, Wisconsin, Mark also raised his own family of two sons with his wife in America’s Dairyland. Someday, they hope to spend winters in a warmer climate like Florida.
