As principal, Dr. Cory Sengsouvanna believes that learning should be a lifelong endeavor. With that mindset, she works personally with students, parents, teachers, and school support staff to ensure that Calvert Academy meets and exceeds the highest educational standards.
“I enjoy talking to the students in our school,” she said. “I especially enjoy receiving pictures or messages from students sharing their accomplishments.”
After growing up with three brothers in Casper, Wyoming, Dr. Sengsouvanna became a secondary science teacher for 13 years in public and private schools teaching biology, chemistry, Earth science, physical science, engineering, and middle school science. Today, she lives with her husband and three children in South Dakota.

Favorites: I love Thai/Lao food. My husband is Laotian and a fabulous cook, so I get my favorite food anytime I want.
